It's been a long time since viewers were invited to become part of the show, but the BBC has just announced a competition for one viewer to take part in a specially-written Doctor Who scene, working with the programme's production team, and shot on the TARDIS set.

While the better-known version of Doctor Who's robotic companion K9 is set to appear in at least six of the next season of the BBC's Sarah jane Adventures, those who can't get enough of the robot mutt will be pleased to hear a spin-off show starring the a very futursistic version of the mechancial mutt is in the pipeline.
