In Review: House of the Dead - Overkill

House of the Dead: Overkill
PUBLISHER: Sega

OUT: Now (Wii)

I’ve never really been disturbed by a game if it comes packaged with a 15 or 18 certificate. It usually means someone’s got a gun, there maybe a drop of blood or, in the worst case scenario, someone might even curse! How very unacceptable – quick, somebody phone a “concerned parent” before their under-aged influenced child shoots a kitten! I was expecting the 18 certificate on House of the Dead: Overkill meant the above, probably without the expletives if its predecessors were anything to go by… but it didn’t. This is a really disturbing game and if someone can show me a published game more outrageous and more shocking than this one you’d probably find me shooting kittens with the rest of them.
